Capital Local Services ("we", "us", "our") provides chimney and gas fireplace services. This website is a collection of local booking pages that help you request our services. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
When you submit our booking form, we collect what you enter: your name, phone number, email address, street address, ZIP code, and the service you selected. When you call us, we receive your phone number and the details you share with our team. We use this information for one purpose: responding to your request, scheduling, and performing the service.
Information collected automatically
- Advertising measurement (Google). Our pages use Google Ads cookies and tags to measure which ads lead to calls and booking requests. To improve that measurement, when you submit the form the details you entered (such as your email and phone number) may be shared with Google in a hashed, privacy-protected form that does not reveal them ("enhanced conversions"). Google's handling of this data is described in Google's privacy policy; you can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings.
- Approximate location. Some pages detect your approximate city from your IP address (via the GeoJS lookup service) solely to show the area we serve near you. We do not store this lookup.
- Hosting logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses and pages requested) for security and site operations.
How we use your information
- To contact you about your request — by phone, text message, or email — and to schedule and perform the service. By submitting the form or calling us, you agree that we may contact you about your request.
- To measure and improve our advertising.
- To keep normal business records (appointments, invoices, warranty).
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Who processes information for us
- Formspree — delivers your form submission to us.
- Google — advertising measurement as described above.
- Netlify — hosts this website.
- GeoJS — the approximate-city lookup.
Beyond these service providers, your details are shared only with the Capital Local Services team members handling your job.
How long we keep it
We keep lead and customer information only as long as needed to handle your request and maintain business records required for warranties, accounting, and law, then delete it.
Your choices and rights
- You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by emailing capitallocalservices@gmail.com. We will respond to verifiable requests and will not treat you differently for making one.
- California residents have these rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and correct. We do not sell or "share" (for cross-context advertising) personal information as defined by that law.
- You can control advertising cookies in your browser settings and opt out of personalized ads at Google Ads Settings.
- To stop receiving calls or texts about a request, just tell us when we contact you, or email us.
Children
This website offers home services and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change, we will update this page and its effective date.
